Description Of Work For Which Firm Was Responsible
The training range at the Gath Road training facility had deteriorated and was in need of upgrades for additional safety, and to be updated to be more in line with current training needs. The entire site was re-graded. Underground utilities for maintenance, management, and to accommodate training devices were installed. The re-grading of the site involved hundreds of cubic yards of material being redistributed at the facility. The new design changed the facility from a 100 meter training area to a 200 meter training area. In addition, 4 smaller training areas were added, two within the larger area and two to the north. The areas were totally re-graded and built back up with large separation berms. The new design allowed for multiple users in a safe, secure training site.
